We love this pioneer woman, hand-painted with crushed stone and minerals as pigment on sandstone, featuring eagle wall art.  The beautiful painting features tones of red, yellow, green, beige, blue, and white.  It is a southwest-inspired art piece depicting an early settler in the high plains: a unique sandstone painting, home decor, and interior design elements for a fireplace mantel or wall. 

This is one of the more prominent sandstone wall art paintings by Jackie Bond.  Most of the art one finds is in the 4–7-inch range.  Bond is well known throughout the Southwest and nationwide for her beautiful oil paintings on sandstone.  As a child growing up in Tennessee, she developed a love for art.
